Rachel Qin, Executive President of the WOAC, and Linda Xu, Deputy Secretary-General, visited the Greece Embassy of China and were welcomed by Mr. Nector Tyrovouzis, the counselor of culture.

Mr. Tyrovouzis takes multiple roles in the embassy and is also in charge of  public relations. We were treated with the coffee of great flavour, Ms. Qin and Mr. Tyrovouzis held a constructive conversation with delicious coffee. Ms. Qin gave a brief introduction to the OLYMP’ARTS 2023 and WOAC and gave light on how the missions of the WOAC and the OLYMP’ARTS are associated with the culture of Greece.

Mr. Tyrovouzis showed great interest in the OLYMP’ARTS 2023, and gave congratulations on the registration of the Beijing Representative Office of WOAC. He expressed enthusiasm for making OLYMP’ARTS better known in Greece, encouraging Greek artists in  to participate, holding conferences together with art institutes in Greece and helping plan a launching ceremony of the OLYMP’ARTS 2023 in Greece. He also looks forward to working with the Beijing Representative Office on cultural and art events and letting Greek culture and art be well known in China.

Ms. Qin presented Mr. Tyrovouzis with souvenirs of OLYMP’ARTS 2023 after the meeting. We expect great artworks by artists of Greece in the OLYMP’ARTS 2023 and look forward to cultural events held together by the Greece embassy and the Beijing Representative Office of WOAC.
