The entire nation of France took the event of high regards and Marc Verriere received letters of support from the French President’s General Office, the French National Commission for UNESCO, the French Ministry of Culture, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the French Ministry of Ecological Transitions and the government of the City of Cannes.
However, Olymp'Arts Gala was put to a halt in 2020 due to the pandemic. Nonetheless, the significance of the event, the values addressed in the Founding Charter and the vision of Marc Verriere were all recognised by everyone involved in the preparation of the event.
