WOAC Academic Experts Committee

The Academic Experts Committee is a vital component of WOAC, bringing together art experts, scholars, and practitioners from various fields to promote the professional development of artistic creation, evaluation, and education. The committee is dedicated to providing guidance to artists while enhancing the quality and impact of art projects.

Young Artists Support Program

This initiative is designed to support the creation and development of emerging artists.

The OLYMP’ARTS

The OLYMP’ARTS is an international art event organized by WOAC, inspired by the ancient Greek Olympic Art Competition. Its purpose is to bring together artists, cultural institutions, scholars, and art enthusiasts from around the world to showcase and select the most outstanding contemporary artworks. Through diverse activities, the event fosters exchanges and communications within the art community, as well as various artistic works and creative ideas. As the most important event of WOAC, the OLYMP’ARTS provides a platform for sharing and dialogue, promoting diversity and innovation in global art and culture. By uniting various forces, the event supports the sustainable development of art while laying the groundwork for future artistic practices and education.

Annual Awards Ceremony

The Annual Awards Ceremony is a significant event held by WOAC each year to honor artists, projects, and institutions that have excelled in the arts. This ceremony not only celebrates artistic achievements but also aims to raise public awareness and engagement in the arts. The WOAC Annual Awards Ceremony serves as both a celebration of artistic accomplishments and a platform for promoting artistic exchanges and communications. By recognizing outstanding artists and projects, the ceremony enhances the social status of the arts and inspires more individuals to engage in artistic creation and appreciation, fostering the sustainable prosperity of global art and culture.

Eligibility
for Joining

By establishing clear eligibility criteria and an application process, WOAC ensures that its members possess the necessary professional skills and backgrounds. This helps maintain the high standards of our organization and promotes the professional development of the arts community, providing members with valuable opportunities for exchange and collaboration.

Eligibility for Artists
Creative Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of artistic experience.

Portfolio Submission

At least 3 representative works must be submitted, demonstrating individual artistic style and innovation.

Professional References

A recommendation letter from a recognized professional or institution in the arts field is required to attest to the applicant’s influence and contributions.

Eligibility for Institutions
Legal Registration

The applying institution must be legally registered in its respective country and possess relevant qualifications for promoting arts and culture.

Projects Experience

The institution must provide detailed records of past artistic projects or activities organized, to demonstrate its participation and contributions in the arts field.

Collaboration Intention

A letter of intent to participate in WOAC activities must be submitted, outlining how the institution plans to collaborate with WOAC and other members.

Eligibility for Academic Institutions
Education Accreditation

The educational institutions must be accredited by the national or regional education authorities, providing relevant documentation.

Education Resources

The institution should demonstrate its curriculum, faculty strength, and educational outcomes in arts education.

Research Capability

The institution must show the capacity to conduct arts research projects and provide related research plans or project outcomes.

Application Procedure
Application Form

All applicants must fill out the application form which can be download from WOAC official website and submit the required materials.

Review Process

Submitted applications will be evaluated by WOAC Audit Committee to ensure they meet the selection criteria.

Results Notification

After the deadline, applicants will be notified of the review results within a specified period. Successful candidates will officially become WOAC members.

How to Join

The procedure for applying to joining WOAC is as follows:

Submit Application

Complete and submit the membership application form along with your resume and portfolio.

Interview Assessment

After a preliminary review of the submitted materials, candidates will undergo an interview to further assess their suitability.

Final Examination

The Audit Committee will conduct a final review to decide whether to approve the membership application.

Membership Application Criteria

As an international non-profit art organization, the World Olymp’Arts Council (WOAC) is dedicated to advancing the OLYMP’ARTS Competition, arts education, artistic creation, and their global dissemination and development. We welcome art professionals worldwide who are passionate about the arts and actively engaged in artistic endeavors to apply for official WOAC membership. Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:

(1) Be an arts professional, including but not limited to: visual/musical/dance/performing artists, arts educators, curators, art theorists, cultural promoters, arts project managers, or arts media professionals;

(2) Priority will be given to individuals with notable professional achievements, such as recipients of national/international art awards, holders of mid-to-senior academic positions in university arts programs, or those serving in prominent arts organizations;

(3) Applicants who have won international/national art competitions or held solo exhibitions/performances may also apply;

(4) Special encouragement is extended to arts practitioners who have made tangible contributions to advancing art and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);

(5) Arts institutions, non-profit cultural organizations, and arts education entities may apply for institutional membership;

(6) Non-arts professionals who have actively supported WOAC or possess resources to advance global artistic exchange may also apply.

Application Method & Procedure

1. Visit the WOAC Membership Section at: https://woac.olymparts.org/web/joinwoac.html"; 

2. Complete the personal information section (including name, nationality, contact details, employer, and professional field);

3. After submission, the WOAC Secretariat will review qualifications and provide feedback via email;

4. Upon approval, applicants must sign relevant contracts, after which the Secretariat will complete registration and issue an electronic membership certificate with ID number.

Note on Joining Specialized Sub-Committees

Applicants seeking to join WOAC’s Specialized Sub-Committees (e.g., Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Digital Arts & Innovation) must submit additional materials per specific committee regulations. The Secretariat will facilitate the transfer of documents for review.
